First, let me thank everyone for their prayers for this trip. It was touch and go on whether I would even be able to go. Stomach flu and 20 plus hour plane rides do not mix very well. God is so faithful!! He clearly had plans for me to go to Uganda, because the next day I was on a plane and off to the mission field.First blessing (it's not huge, but it was nice):
MAJOR leg room on the 15 hour leg of the flight!!
MAJOR leg room on the 15 hour leg of the flight!!As we began our work, it was amazing to see how hearts were prepared for the work that God was going to do that week. On the first day, my team of translator, prayer warrior, 15 year old, scared, high schooler and myself set out. We met up with a family who had been in a lot of rough situations. After sharing the gospel, my translator (Jackson) starts reading from Job. He wanted the family to know that God is still faithful and loving and takes care of us even during difficult times. Blessed be the name of the Lord!! Here's the family. Please, keep them in your prayers:

Right after talking with the family, one of our biggest "fans" (she followed us around that day) wanted a picture of her reading the Bible:
The second day the we went out, my team of nationals and I were feeling a little tired. Grace, the prayer warrior, prayed that the Lord would lead our feet to the people He would have us speak with that day. We ended up at a home where the lady invited us in. I was able to speak with them without a translator which was really an amazing feeling. That day the husband accepted the Lord. When I asked the wife, she turned and gave a little laugh. Not the response I was looking for. She then said, "I am already a Christian. I had a vision that the Lord was going to bring a church into this area and that a group of people would come to my house and tell me about it. There was a girl that came to my house before you all got here to tell me that you were coming and I told her that it was ok, because I knew who you were and why you were there."

That was amazing!! God is amazing!! The day wasn't over yet......This is Sandra:
Her mom saw us that day and asked us if we would pray for her daughter. Sandra is blind, can't walk and had not been eating. So, we prayed. My small but mighty team of nationals and I prayed to our all powerful and loving Lord. Sandra had a tiny bit of potato that day. The next day, when we returned to visit Sandra, her mom was so excited and told us to come in!!!
To our delight and joy this is what we found. Little Sandra eating!! Not just a little bit, but gobbling up her food and swallowing it down!!! Don't we serve a mighty God? As I write this, I find myself crying again with tears of joy for my mighty, healing Savior.

We found out at the beginning of the week that a man had given this group a plot of land in which to build the new church. During the week he and his entire family received Christ as their Savior!! This is where the church will be built:

At the end of the week we had a celebration service with all 3 sites that were planting churces. These are the pastors of the mother churches with the pastors for all 3 new church sites:
At the celebration service we were also privileged to have several people from each site who had received Christ during the week.
We praised the Lord for what He did during this week:
